Mi Analyst

**Role purpose**:
Vodafone needs people who keep up with technology-driven change, who can evaluate investments to support change, and who can seek information to be actively used in making decisions to drive change.
Working within the MI s team within IT Governance, you’ll specialise in analysing data and producing insight, particularly on IT investment performance and Operational costs.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Turn Information requests into insightful reporting that directs short and long-term IT Operational plans.
- Analyse/interpret data trends to enable IT Management to identify and action operational risks and opportunities
- Work collaboratively with our Finance and Supply Chain Partners to evaluate new IT investment opportunities and track their continued performance.
- Create Post-project review insight to drive change in how we manage projects.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

**Core competencies, knowledge, and experience**:

- Curious mind is a must.
- Ability to think BIG, with an eye for detail
- Great communication skills. Equally confident with all organisational levels.
- Problem solver able to identify patterns/ trends that alert to new opportunities.
- Innovative, self-motivated, and energetic. Can work independently or in a team.
- Financial experience is useful. Finance background is a plus.
- Great presentation/infographic skills
- Able to break and fix processes - a clear understanding of cause and effect.
- Strong knowledge of Data analysis using Excel and Power BI.
- Analytical thinking, working with numbers.
- 1-2 Years of experience.
- Finance/Business/Statistics/Computer Science Degree or equivalent.
- Experience with analytical tools e.g. Qliksense, PowerBI. Good Excel expertise.
- Knowledge of Process methodologies
