**Your Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Monitor the implementation of the local laws and regulations and companywide policies.
- Represent Novartis Legal to outside customers, in particular the government and industry associations.
- Support business in the ongoing projects/matters and its related Legal requirements. By acting as a trusted Legal business partner to the relevant stakeholders in the organization.
- Provide pro-active Legal support to commercial matters and working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders.
- Handle legal issues related to business development, alliance management, litigation, corporate governance, and labour law, and manage litigation portfolio and external counsel panel. Ensure external counsel is providing a high-quality service to the organization and ensure panel is set up and managed in the most cost-effective manner.
- Negotiate agreements for the local organization.
- Keeping close follow up for the contract management database.
- Ensure, coordinate, and support appropriate data privacy organization at country level and Coordinate compliance activities with Local Data Protection Coordinators and Global Head Data Privacy, including compliance assessments.

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Law Degree Local Language, English.
- 6+ years of experience in Legal practice in-house in Multinational Companies or in International Law Firms.
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience is a plus.
- Strong experience in Corporate Law is a must.
- Litigation and commercial experiences are highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Persuasive negotiator.
