IT System Administration Manager

Manage all core systems administration covering all subsidiaries and geographic locations; responsible for all overall operation of the datacentre and cloud-based systems.
- Set the standards for all domain policies and security standards
- Design, Planning and management of a**l** **internal IT Telecom related services; VOIP, video conferencing, etc.
- Define policies and procedures for all activities within the on-premises datacentre and cloud hosting.
- Develop annual IT plan based alignment with business requirements and technical systems upgrade requirements
- Define service level agreements for datacentres.
- Capacity planning; of the hosting environments including processing, storage, and communications requirements.
- Physical and environmental controls of the datacentres; power, AC, sensors, communications, and UPS.
- Manage all users and IT admin requests and ensure its delivery; data network, systems hardware, voice, etc.
- Disaster Recovery: manage and operate the rules set by the Group IT Director/ Information Security Officer for disaster recovery. Manage all facilities of the disaster recovery site (if any) as well as the process of disaster recovery during disasters.
- Implement and enforce the security controls set by the Information Security Officer on alll networks within the company.
- Systems support; 2nd level and eventual ly 3rd level support. Resolve production problems.
- Set and enforce Desktop policies/procedures and ensure its implementation.
- Coordinate and fo**l**low up with the corresponding IT teams the resolution of reported problems.
- Manage the trouble ticket solution including KPI reports for the team.
- Define and perform a**l** **technical administration (systems and data bases) activities set by the vendor and in coordination with the business solutions team.
- Set the technical procedures for performing regular backups of all operating systems and data bases in coordination with the business solution and to be executed by the infrastructure team. System Administration: of all systems used.
- Manage, control and execute regular backup, archiving and retrieval of data according to the data retention requirements agreed with the business users.
- Define the appropriate data archiving policies and procedures in coordination with the respective business solutions teams.
- Mange technical vendor’s relationships and procurement of all IT hardware, software peripherals required for business use.
- Stay relevant and aware of all vendors’ technology update and trends.
- Stay aware of all security threats and means of protection
- Maintains continuous feedback and coaching with the operations team
- Seeks users’ feedback to evaluate and improve overall performance
- Develop and maintain guidelines for the team
- Evaluate operations team technical & soft skills & define training and development plan for the team.
- Develop and maintain the relevant technical expertise
- Manage team efforts as projects. Hence project management is a main responsibility.
- Provides ongoing feedback to team members seeking improvement and conflict resolution

- Problem-Solving and Administration.
- Strong Knowledge in Networking, Cloud Computing, Automation and Scripting, Security and Monitoring, Account Access Management, IoT/Mobile Device Management, &Scripting Languages.

**Education**:
B.Sc. in Engineering and advanced degree is a Plus
