Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics Conduct audits and walkthroughs Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation Supervision and plan emergency drills Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy Manage incident and hazard reporting and workplace inspections in conjunction with Safety and Health Representatives Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management Provide specialist advice and guidance on safety and health and risk management issues Handle the client requirements to meet safety standards Carry out other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
BA degree in any discipline Proven experience as safety consultant In depth knowledge of legislation (OSHA, IOSH, NEBOSH,etc.) and procedures Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus Outstanding organizational skills Diligent with great attention to detail Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics Certificate in occupational health and safety
**Work Environment**:
Working hours: 8:30 to16:30 Day Off: Friday Location: New Cairo
