**What You’ll Do**

The Customer Experience (CX) Consulting Engineer (CE) is a technical consulting specialist role engaging with customers. The focus is to help our customers adopt the Cisco products & solutions they purchase from us that allows them to innovate and transform their business, ultimately driving growth. The role resides within the Cisco Customer Experience (CX) organization, one of Cisco’s fastest growing businesses.

The Consulting Engineer will collaborate with strategic customers providing the best solution for these customers, working in conjunction with other internal teams and external partners. Our CX Engineers are recognized technology experts and Cisco will help you continuously enhance your skills and expertise to lead technology and solutions

**Who You Are**

You have a strong customer first mentality and experience as a network or security engineer or technician, supporting Cisco technologies & products in large scale enterprise environments.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Provide Planning, Designing, Implementation and Optimization services to Cisco Advanced Services Customers around Cisco’s Data Center
- Actively involved in the latest industry Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) deployments
- Establish trusted advisor relationship with customer management and teams on Data Center Infrastructure areas and future technology trends.
- Participates in or leads complex Data Center and Cloud infrastructure (network, storage and compute) design/implementation and migration, performance engineering or problem resolution projects.
- Applies good analytic process to help bring any issue to resolution.
- Ensure compliance to delivery methodology operational structure, roles & responsibilities.
- Track deliverables against the engagement schedule and support the PM track financial, resource and material requirements for the engagements.
- Guide other consultants and engineers, resolving challenges and ensuring customer success.

**Desired Skills**:

- CCIE Preferred
- Nexus 5K/7K/9K platforms product architecture knowledge and hands on experience including Fabric Path, OTV, VDC, VPC and ACI.
- Very good knowledge on Enterprise Routing and Switching technologies.
- Good knowledge on MPLS for Enterprise environments
- Good knowledge on NGFW and ISE solutions
- Strong customer-facing skills.
- Excellent understanding of the industry landscape (competitors and partners).
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end IT process, including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations.
- Communication skills to include conflict management, negotiation, presentation/demonstration, and written communication.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Professional Services or Consulting.
