5G Senior Software Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a 5G Senior Software Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in testing highly scalable distributed systems with experience working in an agile engineering team and a knack for researching new technologies.

What you’ll achieve:
As a 5G Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, you will work with a cross functional global team to design, build and deliver production ready software with Dell standards. You will work on a product that is adding intelligence and machine learning to the RAN which is a new edge and a huge differentiator for 5G networks. As part of the 5G team, you will work in collaboration with multiple teams around the world.

You Will:

- Review and analyze different functional and non-functional requirements and define the testing strategy & testing plans.
- Perform requirement traceability to ensure testing coverage of different features& requirements specifications, measure automation coverage within and build test automation roadmap ensuring adequate automation coverage for all product specs & requirements.
- Use different frameworks and network simulators to ensure core product quality
- Work as a key member of an agile scrum team, providing guidance on software test best practices & processes
- Report bugs and errors and follow through to resolution as a member of the overall 5G product team

Essential Requirements:

- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience in automation testing for highly available and scalable systems with cloud native architecture
- Familiar with Containers Technologies and Containers Orchestration with associated testing challenges accompanied.
- Experienced in building automation framework ensuring technical and business requirements and ongoing optimization & maintenance for it.
- Good knowledge in Linux and bash scripting
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the CI/CD development environment
- Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of modern Software Quality Assurance methodologies and best of class industry practices
- Good programming and scripting skills (C++,Python, Shell, bash)

Desirable Requirements:

- Experience with the ROBOT automation framework
- Knowledge of the 3GPP LTE-Advanced and 5GNR technologies and the 3GPP specification that defines them is a plus
- ORAN knowledge and hands-on is a huge plus
