**Job Description**:
**Scope**:
The Credit Controller is responsible for coordinating the debts of existing creditors and deciding whether to allow credit to a debtor. The Credit Controller is a critical role, and is ultimately responsible for the process of Receivables (AR) Collections from the Invoice dispatch up to the time the amounts are collected.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain strong relationships with all clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
- Check customer’s credit ratings with Credit Insurance Company before approving the Credit
- Support to sales team on new customer onboarding process
- Reporting timely overdue to the Insurance company and timely claim submission as per the given timeline
- Set up the terms and conditions of a Credit to be in line with the risk, amount and type of Credit with Credit Limits.
- Daily posting of receipt entries to the system & bank reconciliation
- Manage the timely and effective collection of all debts.
- Negotiate repayment plans when necessary.
- Resolve all issues raised internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
- Run reports for senior staff / management.
- Provide accounts information to internal departments.
- Periodic meetings with Operations and Sales to provide feedback and follow-up on action points with parties responsible and next actionable items

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- BS degree in accounting, finance or mathematics.
- Previous experience in the same position as Credit Controller
- Good communication skills : both oral and written
