**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**

***Amideast Instructor will be delivering in-person English for Specific Purposes - Tourism Industry as well as General English courses to grants, corporate students offsite. The delivery will include in-person instruction incorporating the LMS for quizzes, assignments, supplemental material and correspondence with the participants. The levels will range from beginner to advance for both the general English language and ESPs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Design, plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experience**:

- **Complete all teaching-related administrative tasks to specified standards including**:

- Develop detailed lesson plans
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' attendance
- Prepare tests, examination papers, and exercises
- Revise, write and produce supplementary materials, including audio and visual resources
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
- Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students’ varying needs
- Use relevant technology to support instruction
- Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
- Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments
- Provide appropriate feedback on students’ progress
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback throughout the academic year while actively promoting learner autonomy
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
- Participate in department meetings
- Attend and contribute to teacher development training sessions

**Qualifications and Skills**

**_ Required_**
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field; Master’s degree in education or related field preferred
- Experience in analyzing data and using results to modify the developed curriculum
- Experience in developing standardized curriculum manuals, handouts, instructional PowerPoint across different courses
- Strong understanding of different language learning pedagogies and how to implement them
- Significant experience with instructional best practices
- Knowledge of techniques for facilitating groups of learners
- Ability to plan, model, coach and provide feedback to individual teachers and teams of teachers to improve teaching
- Experience implementing effective instructional practices
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
