**POSITION OBJECTIVE**
The QA/QC Architect is responsible for following up the implementation of the company’s Quality System in line with good quality management principles. The Quality Assurance, Quality Control Architect is responsible for the implementation and development of procedures to conform to the regulations of ISO 9001.

**EDUCATION**
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; or equivalent combination of education and experience from a reputable university with good grade and language school and member of professional bodies in Egypt and/or elsewhere.

**CONTACTS**
Contacts with his/her department members as well as other different department members, project managers, and clients as deemed necessary in Cairo and Jeddah Offices.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Performs all other duties, tasks, and initiatives contributing to achieving the quality policy of the company
- Assist in Internal Audit of QA
- Assist in ISO Procedures and documents.
- Maintain the Quality file system
- Perform QC technical review of BIM files for maximum efficiency and accuracy
- Perform Clash detection for models using NavisWorks software using established QC Technical Checklists and issuing Clash Detection reports
- Responsible for the compatibility of all discipline’s BIM drawings for consistency of graphics, sheet layouts, scales, sheet numbers, title blocks, etc. to assure that the drawing set produced looks consistent.
- Coordinates with the BIM Project Engineers in all disciplines with project workflow to establish and maintain consistent graphic standards on individually assigned projects. This includes the interdisciplinary consistency between mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, telecommunications, etc.
- Communication with other disciplines under the direction of the QAQC Project Architect
- Follow QAQC BIM procedures and standards.
- Participates in coordination meetings to resolve model clashes.
**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**:

- 1-3 years of experience working in the industry with an in-depth knowledge of the Autodesk
- Revit and Navisworks software in a similar role.
- Understanding of how the BIM process applies from start to finish for an Architecture and
- MEP project
- Experience generating Revit families and project standards
- Good Command of English
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Work is generally performed in a standard office environment.
- Overtime may be necessary as workloads dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays.
