**POSITION SNAPSHOT**

**Title: Manager, Distribution & Warehousing**

Location: Cairo, Egypt

**Main Purpose of Job**

Ensure outstanding delivery of 3PL services at optimum cost for by effectively managing the relationship & performance of service providers.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE **
- Implementing, monitoring and managing Safety, Health and Environment & Quality regulations and Best Practices in 3PL Warehouses
- Driving initiatives for cost saving opportunities to Nestlé's benefit within the relationship with the 3PL
- Participate in tenders selecting the most suitable 3PL and managing the contract with service providers by tracking the 3PL's performance and cost, solving day to day issues with the 3PL, motivating the 3PL to continuously improve performance
- Ensure communication and collaboration with other functional departments (customer service, transport, DC, factories) and between 3PLs for a quick reaction to emergencies or issues
- 3PL WH capacity planning to ensure utilization & management of peak & low seasons
- Tracking productivity and opportunities for improvement
- Invoice & cost validation: guarantee that services invoiced and tariffs used are corresponding to the contract
- Efficiencies: Improve vehicle utilization, loading sequence & speed and reduce product damages

**Exact KPIs**:

- 5-8 years of experience with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role in Supply Chain
- 2-3 years of Warehouse Management experience.
- Experience in Transportation or any other relevant Supply Chain experience is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication & negotiation skills
