Do you have a strong interest in PCBA Design for Manufacturing? Can you coordinate the ‘New Product Introduction’ activities around PCBA? Then you might be our new PCBA Manufacturing Engineering Specialist.

Now you have a unique opportunity to make an impact on the continuous success of Danfoss. You will join the Danfoss Drives Division in Graasten and become part of the Global Board Assembly Technology team within Supply Chain Technology Center. A team consisting of 9 colleagues in DK, supporting Operations and R&D globally.

**Responsibilities**:
As our new PCBA Manufacturing Engineering Specialist you will support R&D globally in the new product introduction, ensuring PCBA design for manufacturing - proactively optimizing quality and cost. Based on your PCBA manufacturing expertise and our design guidelines, you will ensure and coordinate the activities needed to enable manufacturability - in either our own PCBA factory in Graasten or at one of our EMS partners globally.

Furthermore, you will have the possibility to involve yourself in the continuous development of technology for PCBA manufacturing, and related design guidelines. The continuously aim for world class manufacturing demands a strong focus and interest in digitalization and ‘Smart Manufacturing’. In this role your key tasks will be:

- Participate in PCBA designs reviews and ensure Design for Manufacturing.
- Manage prototyping activities according to project plans and milestones.
- Prepare and collect all documentation needed for new PCBA variants.
- Secure optimal manufacturing flow and logistics.
- Follow market trends on PCBA technology and support technology projects.

**Background & Skills**:
As PCBA Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you are known as a team player with a good communicative approach and the ability to influence. You are curious and proactive, which you use to acquire new knowledge, find alternative solutions, and adapt to new workflows, which permits you to come up with the right solutions. Equally you have an analytical mindset, which enables you to find the best solutions and present complex information. This is to ensure alignment within a matrix organization, across different cultures and facilities.
- You have relevant competencies in PCBA design and knowledge regarding relevant IPC standards
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Relevant R&D experience with PCBA products, would also be valuable competences in the job
- We expect that you are experienced in the use of, and cooperation with, Electronics Manufacturing Service partners globally, and that you have experience with the workflow related to the introduction of new PCBA products
- Furthermore, you have solid experience with TS/IATF-16949 and the Six Sigma approach
- You master English both written and spoken. Danish speaking is an advantage
