Oncology THERAPY AREA ENGAGEMENT LEAD
Job Summary: The Oncology Therapy Area Engagement Lead acts as the primary point of contact to the TA under responsibility. The TA Engagement Lead is responsible for co-creating, managing and delivering on all the marketing strategies and promotional activities for assigned to Therapy Area. This role is responsible for ensuring the Total TA is performing inline with the cluster objectives. This role involves a combination of leadership capabilities, strategic mindset, medical knowledge and customer relationship management. As well as ensuring execution excellence through guiding and coaching his/her Product Specialists to improve their efficiency to achieve optimum performance of both Sales and Non-Sales KPIs in full compliance alignment with Pfizer Values, Global Guidelines (including MAPP, FCPA), policies, and SOP’s. The Oncology Therapy Area Engagement Lead reports into Oncology Category Lead.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as a pivotal role in co-creating and shaping the TA/Brands Strategies.
- Drive planning and execution of marketing plans to meet company objectives of sales in the market.
- Forecast sales performance and track progress towards target.
- Actively participate in supply and demand meetings to ensure timely updates on products status
- Lead financial cycles planning and forecasting for TA under responsibility
- Plan and coordinate sales targets and territory assignment to Product Specialists and in coordination with relevant TA Engagement Managers.
- Manage and guide the activities of his/her Product Specialists to ensure the best use of their time, enhance their efficiency and ensure their selling efforts are focusing on predetermined list of prioritized objectives.
- Plan, organize and monitor activities of his/her Product Specialists in a timely manner to achieve required objectives through group meetings, review call reports and call plans and ensure their best time.
- Manage sales and non-sales targets allocation for the assigned team with monthly tracking of performance and reporting.
- Assign sales territory to Product Specialists and analyzes sales statistics to ensure the proper deployment of his sales team.
- Train Product Specialists on new campaigns, preparation of slide decks and other promotional tools.
- Assist or participate in developing sales campaigns, seminars and symposia to accommodate company’s goals.
- Study, analyze market and watch closely the competition, report findings to his boss and other concerned departments.
- Omni Channel adoption via developing and deploying of communication channels with his team and with other departments and improve the quality of ongoing information
- Prepare and submits periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales growth
- Assist in communicating the marketing plan to the field sales force and assure its implementation by means of personal contact in the field.
- Collaborate with the TA/Brand core team to ensure the establishment of brand strategies and implementation tactics in line with sales forecasts and expense budgets.
Inform the management of market challenges, opportunities and competitive activities.
Qualifications:
- Medical or pharmaceutical background is preferred.
- +10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
- +4 years in people leadership experience
- High digital adoption.
- Very Good English language.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong experience in high level analysis, building strategies and innovation of project execution.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and team building skills.
- Agile, active, persuasive, has management and leadership skills and ability to develop atmosphere of teamwork and loyalty.
- Persistent and able to work under pressure, able to plan and organize activities and resources.
Work Location Assignment: On Premise
