The Routing Specialist is responsible for developing and optimizing transportation routes to ensure efficiency, utilizing routing software to plan and adjust routes, and aiming to minimize transportation costs and improve delivery times. They also address any issues or disruptions in the transportation process, assess fleet performance, optimize customer routes, and contribute to achieving the team's KPIs and objectives. Optimize the performance and utilization of trucks. This involves monitoring and analyzing truck performance metrics such as routing efficiencies, identifying areas for improvement, implementing strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs, and reallocating trucks to different routes or locations based on demand and operational

**A DAY IN THE LIFE **
- Route Planning: Develop and optimize transportation routes to ensure efficiency.
- Software Utilization: Use routing software to plan and adjust routes.
- Cost Reduction: Aim to minimize transportation costs and improve delivery times.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues or disruptions in the transportation process.
- Fleet Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of the current fleet and implement improvement initiatives to drive cost efficiencies.
- Optimize Customer Routes: Enhance customer routes within Nestlé’s sales distribution model for improved efficiency.
- Service Excellence: Ensure top-tier service for our retail channels by defining visit frequencies and determining critical product ranges based on customer classification.
- Routing Optimization: Conduct routing exercises to verify that current RTM (Route-to-Market) strategies and regional routing achieve desired efficiencies.
- Support KPIs and Objectives: Contribute to achieving the route-to-market team's KPIs, plans, and annual objectives by leveraging data insights.
- Ensure effective operation of chillers. This involves monitoring and analyzing chiller performance metrics such as high performing/low performing & zero sales.
- Optimizing chiller placement and configuration for maximum efficiency, and reallocating chillers to different areas or buildings-based efficiency
