**About This Job**:
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for the sales performance of the newly launched Astellas Nephrology portfolio in Cairo, Egypt, reporting directly to the National Sales Manager. You will have the opportunity to support the Astellas transformation journey and shape up the future ways of working to achieve financial targets.

**Key Activities**:
Responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas Nephrology portfolio in the respected country through effective territory management, expert disease area and product knowledge and through the building of strong relationships with HCPs and payer organisations.
Meet the assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned portfolio and geography.
Identify and close on business opportunities through active collaboration with team members.
Continuously enhance therapy and market knowledge, sales, and personal skills.
Realize synergetic advantages and alignment within the assigned portfolio.
Support sales & marketing activities in the assigned geography.
Work closely together with the Sales Force Effectiveness department to enhance the Astellas ability to successfully stay in tune with market needs and to obtain optimal sales performance.

**Essential Knowledge & Experience**:
Substantial experience in a direct field sales role with demonstrated ability to launch new therapies in Egypt.
Nephrology experience is essential
Should have previous experience working for a global organization and be able to operate in a matrix team set up.
Excellent communication & presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
Fluency in English & Arabic

**Preferred Knowledge & Experience**:
Experience managing both private and government sector would be highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint in particular)

**Educations/Qualifications**:
Education to University level (preferably Pharmacy degree)
