As a Reservoir Navigation Engineer, you will be responsible for all pre-well modelling and will also act as focal point for Reservoir Navigation Services at the well site. Yu will be proactive in real-time decision making and work as part of a team with the LWD crew, Directional Drillers, Geologists and Company Representatives to ensure optimum wellbore placement.

As a Reservoir Navigation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Providing technical support for Reservoir Navigation / Geosteering operations, to include pre/post well interpretation/modelling; log production/QC where applicable
- Working as Customer liaison on Reservoir Navigation / Geosteering and Geoscience operations where applicable.
- Supervising well site / client office of Reservoir Navigation / Geosteering operations and liaison with MWD, DDS and drilling personnel
- Performing Real-time well site log interpretation for Reservoir Navigation / Geosteering operations and post well close outs where applicable
- Maintaining and updating of database/case histories of individual operations.
- Testing and supporting of Reservoir Navigation software and systems as applicable
- Participating in the Baker Hughes HS&E Management System, including compliance to the policy, management standards and specific HS&E procedures

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering, Petrophysics and/or Geosciences (related to Earth Science) from an accredited university or college;
- Have at least 5 years relevant experience in Geosteering / Well Placement / Reservoir Navigation;
- Have LWD experience; preferred
- Be an expert in high level LWD log interpretation, especially in the horizontal environment
