Senior Equity Research Analyst

**About this role**

As a Business Research Analyst at Infomineo, you'll be responsible for supporting clients with their research needs across different regions and industries, more specifically in Equity Research.

**What you will do? **Key job requirements will be your ability to**
- Analyze company-specific, industry and macro-economic information from various sources, including regulatory filings, company investor relations websites, third-party research, online sources, newspapers, databases, etc.
- Analyze companies' financial statements, build, and maintain financial models, generate forecasts, and use several equity valuation methods to enable our clients to make sound investment theses.
- Conduct research independently and provide insights on industries, markets, and companies, in the form of investment research reports; initiations of coverage, earnings updates, adhoc reports, and industry/company insights.
- Keep abreast of industry and economy-related news flow. Analyze implications of news/industry developments to companies under coverage.
- Interact with Clients, responding to requests for models, reports, and data analysis.

**Who you are?**

Background & linguistic skills:

- A degree in finance or economics, or a completed professional qualification like CFA or CMA.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in Investment Research, Equity Research, Financial Analysis, Investment Banking or Corporate Finance.
- Proficient spoken and written English and Arabic.

Competencies:

- Good understanding of financial markets’ infrastructure, instruments, mechanisms, and trends.
- Experienced in building financial models.
- Experienced in analyzing financial statements, creating financial projections, and using equity valuation techniques.
- Good knowledge of financial services platforms including Bloomberg and Capital IQ.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking, resourcefulness, and strong attention to detail.
- Exposure to GCC markets is a plus.
- Exposure to ESG reporting and research is a plus.
