Purpose of the Role:
We are searching for an experienced Senior Developer with a deep knowledge on the Amex proprietary tool WinARES (Windows Automated Rules Engine System) and acquisition business rules to add immediate value to our new accounts acquisitions legacy platform - Global New Accounts (GNA).

**Responsibilities**:

- Define and support business process design by enabling business maintainable rules in GNA on WinARES.
- Support business processes and rules as required by our strategy.
- Develop global processes/rules and deploy for each market.
- Automate existing manual processes.
- Partner with Product owners, Technology, Operations, Production Support and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and train a staff of junior developers on the GNA business rules, WinARES and make them trained on the development, testing and deployment processes.
- Drive innovation and change through new capabilities.

Skills/qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience on WinARES.
- At least 3 years' experience in designing and development of business rules for new accounts customer acquisitions including data validation, risk, routing, communication and fulfillment rules.
- Strong leadership, proven communication and relationship management skills.
- Mainframe knowledge is an added advantage.
- Curiosity and hunger to know how things work and ability to use that knowledge to find enhancement opportunities.
- Good grasp of various Agile methodologies and relates tools : SAFe, Scrum, Rally, JIRA.
- Proven self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- PC skills - Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio.

**Education**:

- Bachelors or master’s Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field (or has equivalent professional work experience).
