**About the role**:
Provide presales design support for both new and existing customers covering any of the Orange Business Services Solutions.
Perform feasibility studies and interviews on customer sites in order obtain all pertinent information concerning customer equipment and requirements for correct proposals and when sold, for the actual implementation.
Ability to qualify opportunities against:
- our capabilities (Design, implement, manage),
- the customer requirements (realistic requirement, technical, financial)
- Context of the project, political alignment and compelling event.
Ability to contribute to financial analysis (i.e. ROI), build joint business cases and convince customers through numbers
Support sales in positioning billable consulting work to customers when such services will facilitate progression towards or closure of Orange Business Services Solutions.
Develop technical and general skills towards the consultancy level and be updated on the latest technologies in order to be a strategic partner for customers. Use this knowledge to design commercially and technically viable solutions to Orange; particularly for complex customer requirements.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the external tools that are required in conjunction with internal tools, systems and processes in order to develop quality / approved technical proposals to customers.
Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of all Orange Business Services products, services and solutions sets
Ability to interface with customers as required during any stage of the customer lifecycle and effectively articulate the Orange value proposition
Actively participate in the tendering process and development of proposals in line with customer needs, liaising with other colleagues as necessary. Present proposal to internal communities as required as well as to customers. Support the development of customer SLAs and Service Delivery Kits.
After contract signing, responsible for providing correct documentation inclusive of project hand-over detail on the customer solution to enable successful project implementation by the Service Delivery teams. For future changes or additions to the project, act as technical liaison between customer and Orange Service Delivery and Operational entities.
Represent Orange by providing presentations and support at customer meetings, seminars, events, etc.
**About you**:
- Bachelor's degree in the Telecommunication field
- Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading, listening)
- Excellent understanding of telecommunication business and technology inclusive of solution justification
- Excellent cloud and AI architecture experience
- Expert knowledge in hyper-scale projects data centres, IT and smart-cities Infrastructure design and architecture.
- Solid knowledge in Red hat cloud design and architecture (Open stack, Open Shift, Cloud Forms, KVM, Ansible automation).
- Design public Cloud Architecture, ensuring that it meets the business requirements, security and performance goals.
- Experienced in generating RFP, RFI, RFQs and capacity planning documents.
- Identify & remediate potential integration issues across all systems within the project
- Works with customer and Data Center Solutions architects in planning and designing highly successful Data Center and cloud environments.
- Up to date with Data Center technologies (compute, storage, Virtualization, network SDN, )
- Expertise in high-level design and solution description
- Proven track record in technical leadership for complex projects (design and/or implementation)
- Strong and proven service delivery in IT and Telecommunications Industries
- Knowledge and abilities- C-Level Executive communication and presentation skills
- Multi-discipline IT background
- Exposure to Middle East market
- ITILv4 certification
- Commercial acumen
- **Vertical market knowledge will be considered a plus (oil&gas)**
- Understanding of Enterprise architecture standards (TOGAF)
- **Proven track record in driving the solution process of large scale integration opportunities either at infrastructure or at Enteprise Application Integration level**
- Business case development
- Proven track record in positioning and architecting solutions involving emerging technologies in software defined infrastructure, cloud
