**Role purpose**:

- Reporting to the IMS Services Design and Development (EW) Manager, the IMS Services Design and Development Engineer is responsible for the design, in-house development and integration of the IMS services across the European OpCos.
- Engaged in customer requirement analysis, SW architecture definition and code development coordination.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- To develop and coordinate developers in the in-house IMS Services development following Agile-Scrum/Kanban methodologies, in order to guarantee time to market and compliancy to user requirements.
- Be part of the DevOps framework inside in-house services.
- To grant services reliability through architecture design, security and capacity planning, according to traffic needs.
- Use CI/CD practices to ensure the appropriate end-to-end process assuring automation, SW quality and smooth live integration.

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Career degree
- Strong programming skills, knowledge in design patterns
- Strong knowledge with functional, imperative and object-oriented languages; knowledge of Java and JavaScript are a must.
- Strong experience in Unix/Linux environments (shell scripting )
- Strong knowledge in Cloud Native development software, Docker, Kubernetes, helm
- Strong knowledge SW development, CI/CD and testing best practices (Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus )
- Knowledge on IMS network and service layer - SIP/ISC Protocol and VoLTE architecture
- Lead project across several areas
