**Responsibilities**:
**Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for the overall systems service and solution development life cycle
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the development and delivery team within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Release management with continuous integration and deployments
- Work closely with the developers in a design-first methodology to architect and develop the best technical design and approach
- Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management

**Mandatory 'Technical' Skills**
- 8+ years experience with cloud technology products, such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
- 6+ years of experience in open source UI frameworks like React, Angular, Springboot
- 6+ years of experience in open source API frameworks like Springboot, Nodejs
- Experience with large scale web traffic
- Experience with web analytics
- Experience with data structures and algorithms
- Experience building end-to-end solutions
- Strong track record of project delivery for large, cross functional, complex projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear way to a variety of audiences

**Mandatory 'Non-Technical' Skills**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Agile and SAFe practitioner

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- 5+ years leading development teams with growing responsibility 5+ years people management
- Expertise managing, training, guiding, coaching, and mentoring senior and manager level engineers with positive results
- Strong public cloud engineering principles including secrets management, Infrastructure as Code, microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge in CI/CD practices, including A/B testing, canary deployments across mobile
- Ability to develop healthy working relationships and collaborate with peers and leaders
- Ability to lead teams through complex or ambiguous situations or challenges
- Ability to monitor employee performance and provide feedback for development
- Ability to build trust and cooperation amongst team members
- Ability to foster engagement amongst team
- Ability to establish a clear vision and strategy for the team
- Demonstrates advanced problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- Solutions-oriented with an ability to keep an open mind while finding agreeable solutions
