**Summary**

Dokainish is currently seeking a System architect to join our boutique consulting firm. The system architect will be responsible for developing a set of tools for internal business use. This is a full-time hybrid position in Cairo, Egypt.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team in the entire software lifecycle architecture, design, development to implementation
- Work remotely and collaboratively with teams across the globe to develop key insights.
- Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
- Package and support deployment of releases.
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget.
- Research and evaluate a variety of software products.

**Education/Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a software engineering-related discipline, preferably in Computer Science. (Cairo university, AUC, GUC, or Ain shams university)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working in a software driven technology environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with engineering projects involving complex systems and directing teams on system definition.
- Must have adept command of English
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills including communication, collaboration, time management and organization
- Proactive and able to work and problem solve independently while paying attention to details
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.
- Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in frequently used coding languages used in software development such as C, C++, Python or PHP
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber & Spring Boot
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Project development methodologies would be an asset (Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma etc.)
