Digital Manufacturing Transformation Lead

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking to hire a Digital Manufacturing Transformation Lead for one of our partners, a multinational Chemical Manufacturing company.

This position requires flexibility to travel. Travel to regional and global sites may be required.

**Job Summary**:
Our Client is embarking on the Digital Transformation journey to automate Manufacturing business to achieve its vision of World Class Sustainable Performer. To achieve this vision, Our company Group IT will be driving several Digital initiatives to improve underlying systems, Data and leverage Industry 4.0 capabilities to deliver Safety, reliability, and Plant availability improvements across the Group.

The role of Digital Manufacturing Transformation Lead is responsible for developing and execution of Digital Improvements opportunities across Our company Assets, improving data and process in Asset Management system and implementation of digital global manufacturing process. This is a key role in the end-to-end modernization of our global Manufacturing systems landscape and processes and will be involved in setting the future direction and vision as well as an IT leadership role in our Global transformation projects.

This is a hybrid manufacturing and Digital role and understanding of end-to-end Manufacturing is essential, experience with Industry 4.0, ERP transformations, RPA and digitization would be useful.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute Manufacturing IT Road Map across the Group while delivering bottom line business improvements.
- Manage enhancements in Maximo with focus on Data, Change Management across HSSE, Reliability and Production.
- Identify, develop, and implement new Manufacturing processes and drive harmonization within the existing Manufacturing process landscape
- Be the key interface between IT and Manufacturing on several initiatives around ERP, Automation, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Analytics, and Industry 4.0
- Lead the Manufacturing elements of the Company ERP implementation including areas such as Reliability, Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing processes and aligning KPI’s and definitions across the entire company
- Leading the implementation of the transformation process working closely with the senior IT and Manufacturing teams
- Ensure that any proposed solutions fit for the needs of the Manufacturing function in terms of quality, functionality, and overall integrity
- Represent the Manufacturing function as users of the system, processes, and solutions by providing clear expectations and acceptance criteria for the program
- Ensure OPCo Manufacturing resources are aligned to overall project(s) timelines including implementation and aftercare.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
- Experience with ERP on the Asset Management side is essential.
- Understanding of best practice Manufacturing process and solutions.
- SAP or MAXIMO certified or relevant demonstrable industry experience.
- Solid experience of 10+ years in managing Applications portfolio and Program Management, preferably in Manufacturing business.
- Experience working with Robotic Process Automation, Plant Digitalization technologies in Fertilizer or Oil& Gas Industry.
- Ability to communicate with C-suite, able to break down and explain complex technical topics into easy to digest updates, it will also require the ability to effectively ‘sell’ the ERP program and position the enterprise benefits of the required investment
- Strong Leadership skills with the ability to drive a team and maintain momentum and pace
- Hands-on mentality and proven problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding of the technology landscape and solutions for ERP (SAP), PI (Aveva), APC, Operator Rounds, LIMS, Digital Twin, EAM (Maximo, SAP) etc
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
