- Job Title: Civil Technical Office Engineer

**Job Type**: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis:

- Develop conceptual and detailed designs for civil engineering projects, considering functionality, safety, and client requirements.
- Prepare design calculations and analyses related to various civil elements (e.g., earthwork volumes, pipe sizing, structural elements, pavement design).
- Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials and systems.

Technical Drawing Production:

- Produce accurate and detailed civil engineering drawings, including site plans, grading plans, utility plans, profiles, sections, details, and schedules.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar) to create and modify drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards, industry best practices, and relevant codes and regulations.

Construction Documentation:

- Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including specifications, bills of quantities, schedules, and details.
- Coordinate with structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers to integrate building systems into the civil design.
- Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with construction documents.

Technical Submittals:

- Prepare and compile comprehensive technical submittals for civil elements, including details, specifications, material data sheets, and calculations.
- Provide technical documentation, including design rationales, material selections, and system justifications, for review and approval by clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure submittals meet project timelines and specifications.

Project Coordination and Documentation:

- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and accurate execution of designs.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, calculations, submittals, and meeting minutes.

Quality Control and Compliance:

- Ensure all civil designs and technical submittals meet company standards, industry best practices, and relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure that construction adheres to design specifications and project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during project execution.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in civil engineering design and technical drawing production.
- Proven experience in developing construction documents and coordinating with other disciplines (structural, architectural, MEP).
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
- Experience preparing technical submittals and detailed specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):

- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualization softwaresustainable design practices.o
