**POSITION PURPOSE**

The SEO Specialist role is Responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**_ Search Engine Optimization_**
- Responsible to maintain & optimize accounts/websites on top of the search pages of search engines. Help in daily operations of various online marketing initiative, which includes SEO keyword research, on page & off page optimization, image & video optimization.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Link Building activity, including advising and working with editorial and marketing teams on social media plans and activity.

**_ Knowledge Development_**
- Continuously update own knowledge of SEO best practices and latest trends and share learnings with relevant team members to enhance IDP marketing efforts

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as.htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.
- A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO
- Strong understanding of website development & coding, as well as a fundamental grasp of Digital Marketing
- Google Analytics Certified
