**General Ledger Management**:
Supervise and maintain the company’s general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately in compliance with accounting standards (EAS & IFRS). Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.**Month-End and Year-End Close**:
Lead and support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare necessary journal entries and ensure that all accounts are reconciled and closed.**Financial Reporting**:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for internal and external reporting. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal company policies.**Account Reconciliation**:
Oversee the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies. Ensure that all accounts are accurately reconciled on a monthly basis and follow up on any outstanding items.**Variance Analysis**:
Analyze financial results to identify and explain variances between actual and budgeted figures. Provide financial insights and support decision-making by senior management through detailed reports.**Audit Support**:
Prepare and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and assist auditors with queries related to general ledger and financial reporting.**Reporting and Analysis**:
Generate and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders. Provide clear, actionable insights on financial performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.**Process Improvement**:
Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes and implement improvements to streamline operations. Recommend changes to internal controls to increase efficiency and accuracy.**Compliance and Controls**:
Ensure that the company adheres to internal financial controls, accounting procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements. Perform regular checks to ensure adherence to tax, legal, and company policies.**Tax Compliance**:
Assist with the preparation of tax-related financial statements and ensure proper accounting treatment for tax provisions.**Team Leadership and Development**:
Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting techniques.

**Personal Skills**:
**Knowledge**:
Strong understanding of accounting principles (EAS & IFRS), financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with tax compliance is a plus.**Analytical Skills**:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to management. Ability to perform variance analysis and identify trends.**Attention to Detail**:
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.**Communication**:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.**Time Management**:
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Technical Skills**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong experience in month-end and year-end close processes, financial analysis, and preparing financial statements.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles (EAS & IFRS), financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with tax compliance is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to management.
- Ability to perform variance analysis and identify trends.
