We are seeking a People Operations Partner, with a startup mindset, who will focus on demonstrating excellence in people operations delivery, problem-solving, and breaking down complex information into actionable items. You will be an active and contributing member of the People Operations team, with a direct impact on the culture and development for team members in Egypt and the larger MENA region. This position is 100% remote, based in Egypt, and will report to the Global Head of People Operations.
**As the People Operations Partner you will...**
- Ensure HR systems remain up-to-date and accurate
- Facilitate the performance management program for team members in MENA.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes, and objectives, to offer best in class HR for all team members.
- Own and facilitate the new hire onboarding program in MENA to ensure new team members are appropriately onboarded and able to scale quickly in their new roles.
- Partner with managers and team members to resolve people related issues.
- Administration of employee benefits and payroll.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations on a variety of HR topics.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance team member experience; partner with the People Operations team to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions
- Promote learning and development, team members wellbeing, and other strategic People & Happiness initiatives.
- Lead compensation and benefits related inquiries and projects in the MENA region.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting activities, including but not limited to owning open requisitions, on an as needed basis.
**Who You Are**
- 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist / People Operations Partner in a rapidly growing organization; previous experience within a startup and/or fintech environment is a huge plus.
- Demonstrated experience of successfully developing and implementing HR programs and policies.
- Proven ability to partner with, influence, and coach people managers on HR various initiatives.
- Proven track record and hands-on experience in boosting employer brand and other talent acquisition initiatives.
- Experience managing local compensation and benefits programs
- Experience managing learning & development and/or wellness programs is a huge plus
- Fluency in English required.
- Agile, flexible, and responsive approach to work.
