Vacancy for: External Relations and Communications
Reporting Channel/Interactions:
- Reports directly to the School Relations & Student Recruitment Manager and to the Head of Department.
- Interacts and communicates with local and international schools; as well as all university departments.
Educational Background:
- University degree in General Management or similar degree.
**Experience**:
- Fresh Graduate or (up to 2 years) experience in the Marketing Field.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internally the needed involvement of university departments in school awareness events organized/hosted.
- Conduct GIU Campus Tours & Presentations.
- Prepare and update the School Presentations.
- Handle all necessary correspondence with potential schools.
- Build and maintain strong relations with school administrations.
- Handle all administrative tasks and inquiries related to the Office Operation.
- Maintain an updated Schools’ database.
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual School Relations Report.
- Handle any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by senior members of the Student Recruitment team.
Job-related Skills:
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Language Skills: Arabic - Written & Spoken fluent
- English - Written & spoken fluent
- German is an asset
- Organizational Skills
- Administrative Skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Presentation Skills are of high importance.
