**Job Summary**: The Lead Security Consultant is responsible for crafting and maintaining advanced security architectures throughout the organization, focusing on both cloud-based and enterprise-wide systems. This role blends strategic oversight with technical implementation, ensuring robust protection of the IT environment in line with business goals and compliance standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive security solutions, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), while also supporting AWS and Azure environments.
- Lead security assessments to identify risks and vulnerabilities across all IT systems, with a focus on cloud infrastructures, particularly GCP.
- Establish and uphold security policies and procedures that align with industry best practices, aiming to safeguard information across all company platforms.
- Integrate security measures seamlessly into both IT and business operations to bolster the organization’s overall security without hindering operational efficiency.
- Proactively monitor and manage security systems, responding to incidents and vulnerabilities with a keen focus on cloud platforms, especially GCP.
- Participate in regular security audits and compliance checks, maintaining strict adherence to global standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Guide internal teams and external partners on adopting best security practices, with detailed instructions and training on handling GCP security mechanisms effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in security technologies and threats, with a particular focus on enhancements in cloud security
- Develop and oversee the delivery of targeted security training and workshops to improve the security acumen of all staff.

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in security architecture with extensive exposure to cloud and enterprise environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security frameworks, data protection regulations, and cloud security architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic security policies and implement them at an organizational level.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in security domains including network and cloud security, encryption technologies, and data protection.
- Experienced with cybersecurity tools and platforms, particularly those related to GCP, as well as Splunk and Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance tools.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, capable of effectively driving security initiatives across various departments.
- Ability to operate independently, managing complex projects with little oversight while maintaining strategic and operational goals.
