Project Engineer I

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As Project Engineer:

- _Communicate with customers, third party project representatives_, and others to meet assigned project requirements for safety, quality, budget, and schedule while ensuring regional needs or requirements are built into processes, work instructions or templates
- _Work directly with the customer on location in order to perform pre-sale activities _including, site surveys, customer meetings, and other engineering activities, in collaboration with the Pursuit Team (Project Team Leader, Account Manager, etc.), as
- _Review, Develop, and Prepare project documentation and drawings _following standards, practices, and use of company engineering
- Proactively _identify customer solutions _and reinforce compliance to pre-determine standards and execution
- Assist in the development and scope of _control strategies and software requirements_.
- Configure and conduct _tests on control systems and develop specifications _for third party equipment and
- Daily participation in _continuous improvement and Lean Daily Management _to efficiently execute projects and provide solutions within budget, scope and
- Recognize where _costs of projects _are coming from and how those costs could be better utilized.
- Ensure _ERP, Supporting Documentation, Time Allocation, and Scheduled _activities are documented.
- Participate into commissioning activities including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, Control loops test, tuning and troubleshooting.
- Customer training
- Domestic and global travelling for various engineering projects or field activities.
- Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

- Follow safety rules in the office, at customer’s sites and third-party testing

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Power, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Power, Mechatronics or Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering required.

0 to maximum 3 years of experience is required.
- PE certified engineer and PMP certified (If not available, employee will be requested to get certified in his/her first 3 years)

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Understanding of, or ability to learn CCC
- Knowledge about Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and electric
- Knowledge about axial, centrifugal compressor, pumps, and generators.
- Knowledge of Oil Refinery, Ammonia, Ethylene, NGL plants is preferred.
- Knowledge of PLC and Controls.
- Basic computer skills: including basic PC setup and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English

WORKING CONTITIONS

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role will require frequent domestic and international travel.
