: Fulltime Reports to: Senior Software Engineer Location: Alexandria, Egypt (San Stefano). Can work remote if your environment supports mínimal interruptions; team meetings, from time to time, will be hosted in the office in Alexandria, Egypt (San Stefano). WEB APPLICATION BACKEND DEVELOPMENT You'll work closely with DevOps, frontend engineers, and security analysts to deliver maintainable, well-documented code in environments that prioritise cybersecurity, compliance, and operational excellence. EXPERIENCE Experience or interest in cybersecurity best practices, ISO27001, or public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS

- Keen to learn, share knowledge, and continuously improve. RESPONSIBILITIES As a Backend Developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing secure and efficient backends using Python.
- Creating and consuming web APIs (REST, JSON).
- Writing and optimising SQL queries and database interactions.
- Working in Linux environments and managing deployments via Docker.
- Using Git for version control and participating in code reviews.
- Managing development and testing in hosted environments such as Replit.
- Collaborating across teams to design and deliver complete solutions.
- Supporting CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation.
- Ensuring systems follow security and compliance best practices. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and HTTP/Web APIs.
- Solid experience with Vue.js for building frontend components.
- Familiar with Linux, Docker, Git, and scripting (Bash or Python).
- Understanding of networking, client-server interaction, and deployment tooling.
- Experience developing in Replit or cloud-based environments.
- Comfortable working with Windows servers/workstations when required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat models, and secure coding.
- Exposure to ISO 27001, NIST, or other compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of building and integrating user-facing components using Vue.js.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and secrets management.
- Experience writing and consuming API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger).
- Interest in performance tuning, resilience, and observability.
