**Role Description:
managing team members and outside resources, developing QC processes and test execution plans.

Department: Software Development

Reporting To: Software Development Director

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop end-to-end testing strategies, plans and processes for releasing high quality software products.
- Build, expand and develop the quality team and guide the team members to execute test cases accurately.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.
- Act as a key point of contact for all quality aspects of releases.
- Help QC team to troubleshoot issues and report bugs and errors constructively to the development teams.
- Design and develop testing frameworks and to optimize and scale our testing efforts.
- Drive test automation and define quality standards/metrics for projects.

Manage QC team time efficiently while working on multiple projects.
**Coaching & Technical guidance**:

- Responsible for providing full coaching, technical guidance, and support for all the QC team members during the development lifecycle.
- Decide the tools that best fit implementing the business requirements.

**Quality**:

- Assessing the quality of all the technical deliverables.
- Communicates and enforces QC standards.
- Ensure all implemented features are tested as planned.

**Technical Estimate**:

- Responsible for all technical estimates from the project’s early phases till end of the project.
- Contribute to estimating the high-level-requirements during RFPs.

**Innovation**:

- Suggest, plan and implement new ideas and software improvements.
- Encourage team to innovate and comes with new ideas.
- Assess team ideas and provide constructive feedback and guidelines.

**General**:

- Good listener, listen and ask questions to understand the business needs.
- Flexible to adapt with unplanned changes in timelines, business requirements, quality standard or any other activity that might threat the overall delivery.
- Show a can-do attitude, and believe in challenging and developing ourselves.

Co-operate with other team members to achieve business targets.
- High dedication with putting the business first and ability to set the right priority for the benefit of our business.
- Constantly motivate and encourage team to give their best, especially during the time when they are pressurized with high targets.

**Requirements**:
8-10 years of experience in software testing.
