Power Supply System Installation Supervisor

***What are my responsibilities?**
- Internal coordination to verify and ensure readiness of buildings for installation through site surveys
- Coordination & Supervision of installation at site during installation process of the cables, MV GIS Cable terminations, power supply equipment including DC Battery Backup Systems (110VDC), SCADA, MV equipment & 220kV equipment and connection to national electricity provider in accordance with the Contract and design documents
- Lead your team at site
- Monitor the progress of installation activities
- Follow up of Progress report / Field instruction
- Report any material damages as well as inspect and analyze damages
- Reporting and Documentation of Site / Section Status
- Inputs for As Built Drawings and review installation red mark drawings and as built drawings
- Preparation and submission of progress reports
- Preparing and updating of Time Schedule (installation part) according to project requirement
- Check all used material for quantity verification and conduct quality checks on incoming / outgoing
- Familiarizes himself with the project technical specifications and ensures that the specifications requirements are adhered to laisse with the owners / internal inspector or his representative
- Providing and checking on method statement, performing all checks on required EHS documents and attend toolbox talks
- Ensure that Siemens Environment, Health and Safety policies are complied with during the execution
- Predominantly based on sites along the e-HSR project

**What do I need to qualify for this job?**
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical education from reputable college or other educational institutions
- Minimum 5 years site experience in similar function
- Experienced in installations of: UPS, generator, SCADA, 220kV AIS & 220kV transformers and MV GIS, valid Certification on GIS and AIS HV Switchgear as well as SF6 handling Certificate(SIEMENS 8DA11/12 and SIEMENS 220kV HV AIS SWGR) are required
- Experience with HV/MV distribution networks and familiar with local electrical distribution company procedures
- Dealt with governmental public sector companies
- Attended EHS trainings like: OHSAS, NFPA 70, Electric Code, Lockout - Tag out procedures, Safe Lifting
- Familiar with electrical international codes and standards for installation
- Fair knowledge of contracts with good command of business writing
- Previous experience and practice with handover procedures, preferably with the governmental sector projects
- Professional in preparing installations methods statement
- Basic Knowledge and practice of Microsoft project
- Practiced supervision on subcontractors
- Knowledge of warehouse, storage of material and work preparation
- Intercultural experience
- English - Professional negotiation level required. Knowledge of Arabic and German would be helpful
- Solid awareness and implementation of safe electrical power switching and isolation. Additionally, highly conscious to EHS rules and regulations, preferably OSHA/NFPA certified
- Lockout and tag out procedures
- Working safely on energized circuits and being familiar with the proper use of special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools
- Valid driving license and able to work in a dynamic environment and in several site locations with the willingness to travel
