**Job Summary**:
Assuring the plant machinery are fitting and in good condition to perform the expected performance minimizing the relevant costs of spare parts and down time.
Also, responsible for developing and modifying production lines and layout for the maximum utilization and to achieve the BU budget

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- For the uptime of all plant & mechanical machinery in the Factory encompassing all equipment and structures covering all branches of engineering i.e. Mechanical,
- To organize maintenance teams with requisite skills for breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance and execution of engineering projects in the factory.
- To ensure uptime of plant and machinery and uninterrupted availability of production capacities, plan and execute Preventive Maintenance Program & Schedule.
- For overall equipment efficiency
- In consultation with Production determine lay-out, line-balancing needs for quality, productivity and efficiency improvements.
- To ensure Utilities like Boilers, Condensers, Generators and Pressure Vessels deliver rated efficiencies and the cost and supply of consumables are ensured.
- To plan optimum inventory levels of spare parts and ensure their storage and accounting. Develop reliable vendors for spare parts and maintenance services.
- To ensure accidents are thoroughly investigated, appropriate engineering solutions to prevent accidents are designed and implemented and safety measures are institutionalized.
- To periodically review performance of Maintenance Executives and Technicians with the objective of improving performance and building greater result orientation.
- To train and develop Maintenance Executives and Technicians for improved performance and for succession by activating an agreed upon career plan in collaboration with Unit HR.
- For introduction and implementation of world class systems including ERP.
- To be directly accountable for development of employees reporting to him and next level.
- To be responsible for implementing Vision and Values of the Group in his Businesses.

- Overall Equipment Efficiency
- Reduction of Machine breakdown to meet the Planned production volume
- Control and reduction of power and fuel consumption in the plant
- Control and reduction of Repair and Maintenance cost
- Capex Execution
- Customer satisfaction
- Providing support to production and quality to improve overall plant hygiene level.
- Internal/External Audits

**Work experience requirement**:
8-10 Years of relevant functional experience in reputed Companies, in the relevant Industry/Sector

**Qualification**:

- Technical qualification, preferably Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in the required Engineering Stream.
- Management Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from a reputed Business School will be an added advantage.
