Senior L&p Test Engineer vois

**Role Purpose**:
To support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in Testing which requires a highly capable and passionate resources for specialized domains as Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation.

Senior Load and Performance Test Engineer will be required to deliver high quality products to the market in an efficient and productive way, will be responsible for providing load and performance testing services. This role will design, develop, report, and maintain Performance Test Strategies, Plans, and Test Scripts and execute them to ensure the system meets quality requirements based on his role.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Identify the performance test requirements and document/implement the performance test scenarios based on the SLAs and benchmarks.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain Performance test suites for different systems using L&P testing tools.
- Create Performance test status reports and send it to the project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with quality assurance team members and development teams to perform Performance testing.
- Perform the root cause analysis of issues, identify bottlenecks and work with development teams in resolving them.
- Analyze the performance test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
- Evaluate Non-Functional Requirement documents and identify performance test needs; types of tests, scripting scenarios, volume projections, etc. to aggregate business and technical requirements into quality Systems and Services.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple groups to determine, gather and verify performance test needs.
- Perform heap and thread analysis, understand, and detect resource contention, etc to help in identifying the root cause of the issue.
- Suggest improvements and configuration changes that improve performance to enhance quality.
- Coordinate in documentation of test results to create summary reports to satisfy both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in developing timeline estimates for completing test cycles within project plan to meet projects’ needs and timelines.
- Work closely with internal and external customers to understand technology requirements for key projects.
- Establish performance test objectives, acceptance criteria, workload profiles and use case scenarios.
- Solve complex problems and provide clear and concise reports with recommendations.
- Work closely with development teams, architects and engineers to test their products under load and make recommendations to improve performance, reliability and stability.
- Developing new testing methods that can be used to evaluate new products or technologies.
- Mentoring team members “Juniors” and review their work.

**Core Knowledge and qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or any related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with QA processes and testing methodologies.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with JMeter and HP LoadRunner.
- Working experience in dealing with test management tools like JIRA, ALM (Quality Center).
- Hands on experience using performance monitoring tools (Grafana, App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Kibana).
- Experience in web services/APIs testing, SQL, and Java.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects.
- Experience in mentoring junior team members.
- Experience in L&P test analysis and setting L&P KPIs.
- Experience in Handling L&P requirements.
- Experience in creating L&P test plans and strategies is a plus.
- Experience in handling full L&P scope in a project is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in CI/CD methodologies.
- High sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Ability to excel in a cross functional team environment.
