**Role Purpose**:

- The Logistics and Distribution Executive is responsible for the accurate and timely incoming and outgoing distribution (and presentation) of distribution materials as required by exhibitors across Egypt. They are also the key liaison between Studio Distribution team and Government bodies for materials and permits in relation to exhibition materials.

**Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
**Trailers and Advertising Materials**:

- Coordinates the ordering, shipping, receipt, site allocation and dispatch of all advertising materials for theatrical releases in Egypt, liaising with local drivers and our shipping supplier(s).
- Updates internal tracking documents for trailer/POS orders, and oversees censorship approvals.
- Conducts site audits to check the placement of advertising materials of upcoming film releases.
- Manages monthly consolidation of shipping invoices.

**Distribution**:

- Manages a running inventory of all materials.
- Ad hoc ordering of film DCPs, using the correct versions for each format (3D, IMAX etc.).
- Orders KDMs per the booking requirements.
- Assists the Sales team with Exhibitor booking confirmations, as required.
- Responsible for registration of licensed titles with Government Bodies.
- Other PRO duties as required, including making ad hoc local deliveries as needed.
- Ensures our records of cinema servers and technical capabilities remains up-to-date.
- Books and manages security operatives as required for advance screenings.
- Ad hoc box office/admissions data collection tasks, for analysis by the team.

**Localization/Versioning**:

- Manages censor screenings, and discusses ratings and edits with the Ministry.
- Learns the different methods and technologies by which we edit films, per censor requirements, and makes recommendations as to how each film should be handled.
- Supports the Arabic subtitle approval process (for features and trailers) - with special attention paid to how sensitive content is translated in Arabic.
- Tracks the ordering and delivery of all our films to cinemas ahead of release, having back-ups in place to ensure 100% that deadlines are met in advance of release.

**Other Context**:

- Performs any other additional adhoc requests as and when required by the Line Manager and/or Head of Department.

**Functional/Technical Competencies**:

- Good written and verbal English and fluent written and verbal Arabic skills (Arabic first language preferable).
- Experience liaising with Government agencies, exhibition and media.
- Familiar with core Microsoft Office computer programs.

**Minimum experience**:

- Minimum two-years’ experience in cinema and/or film distribution operations or similar.
- Needs to be an effective trouble-shooter, to resolve technical and operational issues that arise.
- Has the foresight and inclination to plan ahead, to avoid any potential issues that can occur.

**Minimum Qualifications/education**
- Degree holder or equivalent higher education.
