**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Domain controller focuses on managing user accounts, permissions, security, and the health of the network infrastructure to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable operations.
- Installing and maintaining server hardware and operating systems, configuring and managing user accounts, implementing security protocols, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and creating detailed network documentation.
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless networks.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching protocols.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure mínimal downtime.
- Administer and maintain network security solutions including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security.
- Manage user access, permissions, and roles within the network environment.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning and execute backup/restoration strategies for network systems.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement network upgrades, expansions, and new technologies.
- Document all network configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior IT staff.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, standards, and security protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in network administration within a corporate environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Sophos XGS, Fortinet, HP, or equivalent network hardware.
- Proven expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, endpoint protection).
- Solid understanding of virtualization, cloud networking (Azure/AWS), and VoIP systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent).
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA Security, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities under pressure.
