Capability & Innovation Manager

Overview:

- Deploy, Improve, and govern engineering function systems and capability through implementing and auditing project management Systems and Document control Processes. Leads a PO1 team responsible to:

- Improve assets & team capability by studding, initiating & deploying PO1 new packages & products Innovations & Capability additions projects.
- Conduct manufacturing capacity charts and plots it against different volume forecasts to identify capacity gaps.
- Acts as decision support Spock though preparing growth investment Scenarios for SC Leadership & capital planning team to support Various decision making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with Co manufacturing Director to identify Coman capital investment needs and requirements.
- Partner With Sector and BU Manufacturing, Quality & Food safety and SP&L teams in qualifying the Coman site.
- Owns the Coman projects capital budget.
- Sponsor and govern full project management lifecycle for all Coman related projects including new lines, utilities, equipment replacements and upgrade needs for plants and manufacturing centers.
- Partner With Engineering Director and finance capital planning in Annual Coman capital budget allocation.
- Oversee all project planning & Execution activates.
- Ensure all Coman capital expenditures projects are being executed on time and Budget.
- Mentor & Manage Coman production team during the project installation and commissioning & OEMS as well as consultants & contractors in the deployment of projects and facility standards upgrades.
- Support Coman team in development of Capital appropriation Request Documents and Budget estimates and timelines for their projects.
- Develop projects layouts and partner With Sector Engineering in developing and reviewing projects Scopes and Budgets,
- Coordinate projects activates with legal, finance, safety, and food safety.
- Owns the Coman plants layout Master plans Generates designs and discuss it with the layout’s relevant stake holders and committees.
- Lead development of conceptual Layouts proposal in the Coman site that optimize footprint and improves utilization.
- Support in the technical development of the Coman production team.
- Facilitate the communication between the Coman and OEM teams, ensure smooth integration of the OEM equipment at Coman site.
- Monitor Coman project budget and schedule reports risks, Deviations and delays and prepare contingency plans for meet volume Requirements.
- Develop Capacity Charts & maps it against volume forecasts required for Development of AOP Ph1&2, & PSP to cover 5 years business plans.
- Consolidates, develop, Analise and reports compliance KPI’s for Capex, R&M & Spare Parts WC Budgets Monthly & Quarterly. Analyze deviations & opportunities ( bright Spots / hot spots) and agree on corrective actions with PM’s and reports back to Eng Dir, SC VP & Finance planning Sector Engineering.
- Consolidates Projects Progress one pagers and share it with Sector Eng team monthly.
- Consolidate Marketing Innovation Plans For beverage and snacks and work Conduct Ideas Technical assessment in coordination with PM’s ,Manufacturing SN Director & Quality Sn Manager to conduct technical capability validation of initiatives.
- Lead the study, costing, capex preparation and execution of the Packages and Products innovations projects.

- Prepare monthly report on progress of assigned innovation and Co-man projects with assistance of schedules, costs monitoring sheets and risks analysis.
- Support Eng Director in developing policies, procedures and standards and develop & update tools to ensure near to live accuracy & consistency.
- Responsible for Developing templates design / validation.
- Owns Engineering portal Updates to insure proper documentation and Backups retention.
- Supports Snacks, Bev. and SP&L Sn PM’s in developing documents control Files for each project and conduct Audits on the project files completion and facilitate internal electronic archiving in line with procedure.
- Consolidate and Report projects schedule adherence and updates master CPS.
- Coordinate with productions planning team projects and overhauls Stoppages and Reflects them on the monthly capacity charts.
- Prepare all Engineering function regular Performance and KPI’s presentations for sharing in regular SC forums & reviews.
- Develop a Document retention policy for engineering Projects

Qualifications:
**Knowledge**:

- Solid knowledge of food & beverage industry and packaging Solutions
- Project management experience with deep knowledge of project management life cycle & program management governance tools
- Previous plant manufacturing / maintenance experience
- SAP& MyBUY (Ariba ) power user
- Strong record of budget control and reporting

**Education**:

- Degree Engineering from Reputable University**, **PMP is highly recommended.
- Finance Knowledge is a Plus

**Prior Work Experience**:

- Overall, 6-8 years’ technical experience in food and bever
