Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Oversee and monitor the high standards of teaching in line with the DfE teaching standards,
- Ensuring the primary school curriculum is appropriately mapped and maintained and shared with appropriate stakeholders,
- Oversee the management of daily cover arrangements and communication of staff attendance with the HR department,
- Liaise with the Head of Primary & EYFS regarding the primary school timetable and be responsible for its ultimate creation and delivery,
- Oversee and monitor the assignment of staff duties and attendance of duties throughout the school day,
- Organising internal assessments and leading moderations,
- Monitoring the academic data management, including the organisation and management of the Key Stage Deputies,
- Leading continued development of targeting setting and tracking of students, ensuring the success of every student within the School,
- Monitor the effectiveness of the Marking and Feedback policy and procedures and that it is disseminated consistently,
- Oversee the maintenance of Short, Medium and Long Term Plans, and ensure they are consistently delivered across the School,
- Monitor the consistency and regularity of marking and feedback on homework, including the standard of homework,
- Lead termly analysis of attainment data and progress and follow up with any actions needed to ensure the success of each student,
- Communicate information regarding curriculum matters with parents when necessary,
- Liaise with other Deputies and Leadership to deliver a successful transition.
- Lead parent workshops and coffee mornings to foster strong home-school partnerships

- Driven and dynamic with a desired Leadership qualification
- Experienced in running internal and external assessments within a school setting
- Able to build positive relationships with middle leaders and teachers, inspiring them to deliver a high-quality educational experience
- Comfortable presenting to parents in both individual and group settings
- Able to manage their time effectively and prioritise their task appropriately
- Approachable and open to staff and student queries
- Calm under pressure and able to deal with situations that arise
- Analytical and system-orientated with an understanding of MIS’s and Data Analysis
