Snr System Implementation Engineer

**About the role**:
**Job Purpose**
In a small team of implementation experts, specialized in projects of servers implementation in an international context
- Experience in implementing large Openstack virtual infrastructure with advanced components(Neutron, Horizon, Keystone, Prometheus,etc).
- Responsible for all technical escalations and other technical aspects related to the System area.
- Responsible to ensure that all engineers write proper technical documents, project files, detailed technical architecture, training materials specific operational documents etc.
- Responsible for attending project meetings where the project manager/ coordinator have requested your presence and input.
- Strong understanding of overall technical architecture project (High Level Design) to specify a detailed technical architecture (Low Level Design), meeting our high quality standards
- Responsible for reviewing and validating the shopping list to order needed hardware to our suppliers.
- Experience in designing and implementation of our new cloud computing infrastructure.
- Responsible for writing technical documents, project files, detailed technical architecture, training materials specific operational documents etc.

- Good understanding of Networking and Security domains.

- Increased quality in project deliverables due to regular meetings to discuss technology standards to be used in complex customer projects and potential solutions standards for specific technologies.
- Complete track record of all Design/Build issues and respective solutions.
- More effective and detailed infrastructure handover documents for effective customer support by Operation team.
- More quicker and reliable build with Automation tools/scripting skills.

**About you**:
**Educational Qualifications**
- University degree in Engineering or Science, Master degree in Computer Science/Applications or BS Computer or equivalent.
- Appropriate Platform Certification (x86,Red Hat open stack, Cloud Automation), ITIL
- Red Hat® Certified Engineer (RHCE) in Red Hat OpenStack®.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ceph Storage Administration

**Relevant Experience**
- Minimum of 10 years related work experience in customer facing organizations within the telecom or IT industry.

**Desired skills/knowledge**
- Very good understanding of server systems technologies (hardware servers, rack mounted blade servers, operating systems, storage, as NAS/SAN and modular storage servers, drivers and middleware).
- Very good understanding of IT & networking fundamentals.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce solid work that is both correct and to a high standard.
- Ability to work well in a team environment but also on an individual basis to ensure tasks/actions are completed.
- You must be highly self-motivated and work well under pressure.
- You are able to bring all of the above together and implement the solution on the customer’s environment
