Testing Specialist

The Testing Specialist is responsible for the successful and cost-effective implementation of Amideast Testing programs: ETS: CMD, SAT, PROMETRIC and Miscellaneous tests effectively as per the set policies and procedures. S/he plays an active role in providing customer service and strong public relationship with institutions (schools, academies, universities, and corporates) and create public awareness of Amideast’s testing services in the community.

S/he will support registration, administration, training; contacting Proctors, Test Center Administrators (TCAs), Test Center Supervisors (TCSs), tracks documents and forms and update databases; complete reporting documentation; consistently ensure that that testing quality and security standards are met; and will actively interact with all stakeholders in a professional and positive manner and all associated logistics.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support testing department members in all projects & tasks assigned
- Perform actively in cross-functional projects teamwork tasks
- Learn all testing product knowledge and act as testing resource for all projects
- Handle testing unit duties (test registrations, back-office work & results)
- Comply with all procedures set forth by the various international test regulations & client’s agreement
- Handles onsite & offsite test administrations
- Maintain excellent relationship with all stakeholders including schools, academies, universities, and corporates
- Supervise Test Center Administrators (TCAs), Test Center Supervisors (TCSs), and Proctors. Support in scheduling their assignments
- Receive, verify test materials, and securely store them till test date
- Handles all filling system & maintain organized track for storage inventory
- Score, and distribute test scores
- Monitor the usage and expiration of voucher logs for local registration of international tests
- Complete PROMETRIC certification and pass certification exam annually
- Act as Prometric TCA when needed
- Support in preparing accurate data for invoice, annual business plan, budget, etc
- Acts as test day supervisor in Institutional TOEFL and TOEIC examinations for internal and external clients and takes all required security precautions according to set rules & regulations to maintain test security
- Work in remote proctoring project for TOEIC and TOEFL Exams. Handle 2 roles proctor and administrator
- Schedule TOEIC public exams with ETS according to set deadlines and arrange and proctor test administrations.
- Handle online shopping cart and ensure test takers are registered, rescheduled to proper exams, ensure refunds are processed, extract rosters for online registrations, update test policies
- Submit a full report following any event or testing administration regarding policy violations and any issue that occur during the test administration
- Distributes TOEFL, TOEIC and SAT score
- Create additional score reports and mail them to institutions
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of SAT scores
- Coordinate none ETS paper-based exams, online exam activities, and arrange for test events including their staffing and work closely with the client to meet and exceed customer service levels and maintain test security and integrity
- Complete departmental forms by thoroughly and accurately documenting information to provide quality service
- Records and prepares accurate monthly statistics
- Attend ETS & Amideast H.Q meetings, training & calls
- Provide backup support for Testing Unit Representatives during peak hours, shifts and staff absence
- Handle work tasks and responsibilities independently and with mínimal supervision
- Work closely with several internal departments & grant
- Handles all escalated calls in a professional and positive manner
- Identify customer issues and concerns and respond where needed

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**

**_Required_**:

- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- Minimum of 3-7 years of work experience preferably in the field of Education/Administration
- High language proficiency in both Arabic and English
- Very written communication skills
- Very verbal skills
- Organized
- Project management skills with precise attention to detail, planning, organizing, and ability to work under time pressure
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations
- Must be available to work in afternoons/evenings and weekends, for the announced exam dates when requested and as needed. (Additional hours in afternoons to be compensated in other work days)
- Integrity in keeping confidentiality is a must
- Self-motivated
- Able to maintain professional demeanor and appearance
- Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

**_Preferred_**:

- English TOEIC score of minimum 700
- Project Management certification
