**The Role**:
Here at Twinkl we are currently looking for a content writer/editor to join our Twinkl Egypt team and create exceptional resources following the rules of Arabic Grammar. We are looking for creative, innovative, cooperative content writers/editors to join our team and collaborate with making perfect Arabic content on our website.

You will be helping to create Arabic resources specifically designed to follow the new Egyptian curriculum. As a team we are looking to add new creative ideas and engaging resources to improve our Arabic content on the website.

You will create innovative printable and digital Arabic teaching resources that address key standards in Arabic Subject Egypt Curriculum Grade 6.

You must have experience teaching Arabic Egyptian curriculum using the new Egyptian curriculum for grade 6. If you have experience teaching year 5 that would be a plus You will be creating Arabic Grammar resources that would be used by all Arabic teachers.

In your role as a writer/editor, you will focus on quality when writing content and help ensure that the content of our resources the writers have written is accurate and well written, helping us to deliver high-quality Arabic Grammar materials to children around the world.

The content you write will be turned into professional Twinkl products by our highly skilled design and illustration team.

**How you’ll spend your day**:

- Creating Arabic resources following the product scheme, reviewing and editing content that our Writers have created to ensure it is accurate, well written, suitable for the target year group and providing the correct level of challenge and support.
- Meeting, working and communicating with other team members in a scrum team to achieve sprint goals.
- Researching Arabic educational resource trends and ideas to make sure your assigned resources will be instant hits with our millions of global members.

**In this role, you will learn**:

- How to create exceptional Arabic content following the guidelines of Arabic Grammar.
- How to adapt new ideas to fit a new market.
- How a scrum team works together across different markets and countries.

**You’ll work with**:

- Menna Abukhadra (Egypt Country Manager) - Menna Abukhadra leads the Twinkl Egypt team and is responsible for all Arabic resources related to Arabic Grammar and Arabic Handwriting on the Twinkl website. Menna has been working at Twinkl for five years. She started as a Middle East Content Executive, then moved her focus to the Egyptian Market until she became Twinkl Country Manager for Egypt. She is a hard working person who always seeks the best performance and results. She has an educational career background as she is a professor at Cairo University and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge. She has been working in the educational sector in Egypt for 15 years. She speaks 4 languages and she has written 3 publications about education in the Middle East.
- Other Twinkl Egypt team members - the team consists of a production team leader, Content Writers/ Editors, Designers, illustrators and marketing specialists. We all work together in harmony towards one message, which is providing high quality Arabic content to help all those who teach Arabic in Egypt, the Middle East, and the rest of the world

**Requirements**:
**We are especially interested in anyone who also meets the following**:

- Have an excellent understanding of the Egyptian new curriculum grade 6, Arabic Grammar and excellent spelling and punctuation skills in Arabic.
- Qualifications: Hold A bachelor's university degree in education.
- Qualifications: English language from accredited institutions in Egypt.
