**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data into the accounting system.
- Verify and process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Maintain the general ledger by reconciling accounts and posting journal entries.
- Review and reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between the bank and accounting records.
- Process vendor invoices, ensure appropriate approvals, and schedule payments.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Generate and send customer invoices.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Handle foreign exchange transactions and related documentation.
- Maintain Forex records and reconcile Forex accounts.
- Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and their impact on financials.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and analyze various financial reports as needed.
- Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process employee reimbursements and ensure proper documentation.
- Organize and maintain financial records, documents, and supporting files.
- Ensure documentation is complete and easily accessible for audits and reviews.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights to management regarding financial performance.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in accounting or a related role is preferred.
- Experience in Forex operations is a plus.
- Experience with SAGE accounting software is advantageous.
- Gulf region experience in accounting is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
