**About The Role**:
As a Junior General Accountant at Zeal, you'll be a key player in our finance team, contributing to the smooth operation of daily accounting activities. You'll handle everything from managing bank transactions and processing accounts to supporting financial reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

**What You'll Do**:

- **Bank Transactions and Reconciliation**:

- Prepare and process all company bank transactions, including payments, deposits, and transfers.
- Ensure all bank transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank statements with company financial records on a monthly basis to identify discrepancies.
- **Accounts Receivable (AR)**:

- Monitor and process customer invoices and payments.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Maintain an up-to-date aging report and collaborate with the sales department to resolve any payment issues.
- **Accounts Payable (AP)**:

- Process supplier invoices and verify accuracy and authorization.
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- **Bookkeeping**:

- Record all financial transactions, including general ledger entries, into the accounting system.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for all business transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports.
- **Supporting Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits and other financial reviews.
- **Expense Reporting and Cost Control**:

- Verify and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist in monitoring and controlling company expenses.
- **Other Financial Duties**:

- Assist with VAT filings and tax-related matters.
- Support the senior accountant in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all financial activities.
**- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
- Keen attention to detail and a natural knack for accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, helping you stay on top of tasks.
- Familiarity with Egyptian accounting regulations and tax laws.
