Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less

**The Sr. Specialist Public Affairs’ key goal is to establish, maintain and strengthen relations with key policy stakeholders including business partners, government, international organisations, and key public figures. He/she is also expected to keep talabat Egypt ahead of the curve when it comes to incoming and/or expected industry policy changes by keeping a strong ongoing dialogue and a collaborative agenda.
**What's On Your Plate?**
- Execute the Stakeholders management strategy set by the Head of function
- Own and updates the external stakeholders map.
- Develop and support new and current partnership engagements including identifying and building relationships with prospective collaborative partners and/or stakeholders.
- Identify, monitor, analyze and report on current and future regulatory issues in the Egyptian market.
- Gather intelligence, and reports on legislative and regulatory agendas.
- Articulate our policy positions in briefing papers, consultation responses and internal policy meetings, as well as memos, and position papers when needed.
- Cross-functionally work with internal stakeholders such as communications, legal and the broader policy teams.
- Advise the head of function and Market lead team on public policy matters to help guide the development of products, services and policies.
- Support the Corporate Communication Lean in creating talking points and material to the management team on policy related topics.
- Develop and manage positive and constructive relationships with all our public affairs stakeholders.
- Work closely with agencies and/or strategic external advisors on day-to-day basis to execute the company’s external stakeholder’s engagement plan.

**What Did We Order?**
- A BA in political science, public relations or public policy is an advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English and Arabic is a must.
- Experience working with the government and/or NGOs is a plus.
- Persistent with experience in managing diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Tech industry experience is preferred.
- Confident with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
