Danfoss Drives is looking for a Power Engineer - Harmonic Design to the further development of our product range.

You will join the Danfoss Drives Division in Graasten and become part of the Power Circuit Engineering team of 17 colleagues in DK. We are responsible for development of power electronics in high performance standalone frequency converters in low to medium power range (0-90 kW).

**Responsibilities**:
You will be part of the Power Circuit Engineering team working with grid robustness, harmonic design and frequency converter/motor interaction of our future products, in close cooperation with colleges from Development, Product Management and Supply Chain.

As a Harmonic design engineer, your overall focus will be to ensure that our products are in compliance with international harmonic standards as well as internal quality requirements. Your focus will be on handling harmonic design aspects and frequency converter/motor interaction. More specially, you will:

- Participate in product development from early requirement specification, detailed design specifications, supplier interaction and verification focusing on grid harmonic mitigations and frequency converter/motor interaction. Focus will be on power options products in form of line harmonic input filters and dv/dt, sine wave and HF-CM output filters
- Build up simulation models and perform engineering test related to grid robustness, harmonic line current emission and drive/motor filter solutions (Matlab/Simulink and Ansys for electromagnetic/multi-physic simulation)
- Participate in international standardization work within harmonic legislation
- Participate in technology work related to harmonic mitigation, frequency converter/motor interaction and cooperate with universities in Denmark and abroad
- Perform troubleshooting and mitigation of power quality issues at customer sites
