Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer, located in Hyde Park, NY. The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations, space planning, preparing design presentations, and selecting materials and furnishings. They will collaborate with clients, team members, and contractors to ensure design excellence and adherence to project timelines and budgets. The role also involves overseeing junior designers and providing guidance to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in space planning, conceptual design, and 3D rendering
  • Strong project management, time management, and client communication skills
  • Knowledge of materials, furnishings, and construction documentation
  • Experience using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality design solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional interior design experience
  • NCIDQ certification is a plus
