QC Chemist

Duties, tasks, and Responsibilities:

Raw Material & Packaging Inspection

• Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging components according to specifications.

• Verify COA against internal specifications.

• Perform identification tests and approve or quarantine materials.

In-Process Quality Control

• Conduct line clearance.

• Perform in-process checks (pH, viscosity, density, weight, color, fill weight, sealing, coding, etc.).

• Report OOS/OOT or deviations immediately.

Finished Product Inspection

• Inspect finished goods

• Conduct visual inspection for defects, sealing, leakage, and packaging integrity.

GMP & Compliance Monitoring

• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and GMP compliance on the production floor.

• Verify PPE usage and equipment cleanliness.

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete inspection forms, BMR entries, non-conformity reports.

• Maintain accurate and traceable QC documentation.

Equipment Handling

• Ensure instruments are calibrated and used properly.

• Report malfunctions.

Qualifications & Requirements

_ Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.

1–3 years QC experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG.

Strong knowledge of GMP and ISO 22716.

Ability to interpret specifications, SOPs, and BMRs.

Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and communication skills.

Working conditions :

6 days per week, 8 hours per day.
