Job Description
: B&W is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineering degreed personnel, to join our team of talented Boiler Field Service Engineers, who provide best in the industry expertise and support on a broad range of B&W and non B&W utility, industrial, and environmental products to our customers. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working on boilers, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. As a Field Service Engineer, he will have a tremendous variety of job tasks and activities. These activities can include: being responsible for supporting the assessment, operation and maintenance of B&W or competitor's equipment (Steam Boilers & Auxiliaries); commissioning of new equipment, technical advisor services during the construction phase of major projects; international opportunities; supporting our non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, etc. Forming and maintaining customer relations will be needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in Field Service and Preventive Maintenance activities
  • Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
  • Excellent Customer Service abilities and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively to client sites and work in an on-site capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Fluency in English
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
