Provide comprehensive clinical data / content management expertise, Perform Clinical Data Management activities, and Provide leadership as an individual Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Essential to have

  • Serve independently as a Clinical Data / Content Manager, Clinical Data Coder, Lead Coder and/or Coding reviewer for one or more projects.
  • Maintenance of clinical data (CPT / ICD / HCPCS / Dental Codes / ACHI codes / Service List)
  • Drug Database Maintenance by managing drug data including commercial and scientific information.
  • Maintenance of drug edits data (Creation and review drugs edits) such as, but not limited to Interactions, Contraindications, Age, Gender, Indication, Maximum Daily dose, Duplicate Therapy and other related information.
  • Mapping of codes between different codes sets (e.g. – ACHI to CPT, ICD 10 CM to ICD 10 AM, Trade Drug Code to Scientific / ATC code etc)
  • Provide Clinical Support in various solutions developed by the company (such as MDS 360, Map Me, Clinical Decision Support System, EFWA etc)

Good to have

  • Good Knowledge in international code sets (Examples: CPT / ICD / HCPCS / Dental Codes / ACHI codes / Drug codes used in various markets such as UAE, Oman, Egypt, KSA etc)
  • Understanding in clinical edits in the international codes sets (Examples: Medical necessity, Age limit)
  • Knowledge of medical edits data (Creation and review medical edits) for both - American and Australian Coding Standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Degree — Pharmacy, dental, medical, nursing, life sciences or related field qualification or educational equivalent.
  • Should be from Health Information Background / Clinical Background
  • Should be a professional coder with coding certification (AAPC, HIMAA, AHIMA etc). Australian qualification is an added advantage
