Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Internal Auditor
to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform detailed audit fieldwork in line with approved internal audit methodologies, documenting results through clear and well-structured workpapers. They will conduct process walkthroughs, identify control gaps and deficiencies, and support the preparation of audit and advisory reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Execution & Fieldwork

  • Perform detailed audit fieldwork in accordance with approved internal audit processes and scope
  • Apply appropriate audit techniques and document results accurately
  • Prepare clear, logical, and detailed audit workpapers supporting findings and conclusions

Process Walkthroughs & Control Assessment

  • Conduct walkthroughs with lines of business to understand processes
  • Document workflows using system notes and flowcharts
  • Identify control gaps, weaknesses, and deficiencies

Audit Reporting & Advisory Support

  • Assist in the preparation of audit and advisory reports
  • Support review discussions by providing well-supported audit results and observations

Risk Assessment & Audit Planning

  • Assist in performing risk assessments and audit planning activities
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit, ethics, and compliance policies and procedures

Special Projects & Investigations

  • Support execution of special audit and advisory projects as assigned
  • Perform data analysis and documentation reviews
  • Assist in investigations related to integrity violations, unethical conduct, and suspected fraudulent activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting.
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in internal auditing
  • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and business processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio.
  • Detail-oriented with strong teamwork, logical thinking, time management, organizational, multitasking, and negotiation skills.
